Chroma Group were honoured to contribute to the reconstruction of the Melbourne institution, La Mama Theatre, after it tragically had burned down in 2018.

Through early engagement with the client, Chroma Group were able to assist in pre-construction investigation & design works to minimize construction programme on site. Construction works were undertaken within a live operating hotel restaurant & bar environment; with sleek & discrete black hoardings, & successful coordination with back-of-house areas & operating kitchen space, Chroma Group were able to deliver the project within programme with minimal disruption to hotel operations.

Chroma Group were responsible for procurement of bespoke fixtures & finishes to match the existing boutique fit-out; including a spectacular 18-seat conference style table complete with etched bronze work to match adjacent existing finishes.
